Frank Akinsete

Frank Akinsete works as a freelance style consultant for both individuals and corporate clients. His Portobello Market boutique is open Friday and Saturday from 7.00am—5pm. 

Frank is a visiting lecturer in BA Fashion and Fashion Marketing at universities and creative arts sites in Epsom, Rochester and London. He runs Styling Workshops at Winchester School of Art, London South Bank University and London School of Trends.

His Recyclamania movement, set up the world’s first ever vintage concession within a department store. Souled Out was open between 1991—1995 in Topshop’s flagship store on Oxford Street, London. 

In 2019 he was appointed Fashion Director for ASBO Magazine, and as an Extinction Rebellion #boycottfashion Ambassador, raising awareness of the harmful environmental effects the fashion industry poses on the environment.
